2015/16
Jurre Blom is winner of the Dooyewaard Stipendium 2015-16.
On June 22, a professional jury consisting of Mariette van der Spek, Barbara Houwers, Stef van Breugel and Eugene Jongerius selected the new Stipend winner Jurre Blom from six candidates. This young artist creates phenomenal, photographic drawings and paintings. Strange moments that he captures, strange cuts and large formats. More on www.jurreblom.nl.
The other nominees were: Isis Bakker, Nino Chutkerashvili, Bianca Filius, Bart van t’Hoff and Lisanne Ruim. The working period in the Stipendium studio on the Fransepad in Blaricum starts in October 2015.
