The Dooyewaard Foundation will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2025. After receiving its first working capital in 1995 , the Foundation’s objectives (to execute the legacy of Jacob and Willem Dooyewaard) were achieved step by step. The Foundation acquires historic studios and on a continuous basis makes them available to talented artists as places to work and live. The Dooyewaard Foundation is a private initiative and has been supported by donors, foundations and participants for decades. Within a framework of 4 curated projects, the Foundation works both at a national and at an international level.
